TECHNOLOGY PROJECTS

Our members are working together on:

Extended Range Technologies – superior power to weight ratios, regenerative braking based on ultra-capacitors, auxillaries for non motive functions improve range and efficiency making electric mobility more realistic.

Power Management Technologies – advanced digital and analogue technologies moderate competing and inefficient demands on the lithium batteries, charging, the vehicles accessories and the electric grids. Reducing Part Count – lower total cost of ownership depends in part on fewer parts and more coordinated design.

Advanced Materials – lighter, stronger, more environmentally friendly materials help to maximize energy by reducing weight and life cycle costs. Auxillary Energy – preserving battery reserves for motive uses in the real world means using alternative energy sources for heating and cooling the vehicle.

If you have an interesting technology, please contact us.

EARLY ADOPTER PROJECTS

Project Eve works with early adopters of electric mobility technologies to enhance mutual understanding and to gain valuable real world inputs into the use and future design of our technologies.

Projects include:

Municipalities – EV's are a promising technology for Canadian municipalities and local electrical distribution companies as they represent a cleaner transportation future with direct economic benefits to Canadians. What was once a local loss becomes a local benefit as revenues from electric consumption stay local. This promising future comes with a number of local impacts that can be planned for in a way that encourages adoption and allows for more precise capital and operational budgeting. Project Eve works with municipalities to demonstrate real world feasibility of PEV's and their economic and technical impacts on their fleet needs, first responders, residential and local grid charging scenarios, recycling, and other municipal programs. Academia/Vocational – Project Eve works with Canadian educational institutions to help them prepare students for opportunities and challenges. For more information, click here.

Business Alliances – Project Eve is open to business alliances, of both domestic and international scope. For more information, click here.
