WHO WE ARE We are a group of Canadians working together to advance electric mobility technologies and their adoption. Our technology focus is on next generation 'pure' electric mobility technologies such as ultra-capacitors which capture kinetic energy and make it useable for a lithium based battery. Our approach is inclusive and collaborative. The Electric Vehicle Technology Roadmap for Canada, a publication of Electric Mobility Canada, outlines opportunities for a made in Canada solution. We encourage every company in Canada with technologies and assets relevant to electric mobility to join us.  A NEW COMPANY We are a new Canadian corporation that has been formed to help address the funding, technology, integration, testing, data sharing and go-to-market challenges. Our approach is to pool and share know how and resources in order to produce key components and EV's. Specific activities include raising funds, initiating key technology projects including EV RFP responses, exploring licensing and revenue opportunities, and sharing data with participants, such as electric utilities and data networks and becoming an overall industry leader for Canadian technologies companies. Our goal is simple – to accelerate the commercialization and enhancement of electric mobility technology by reducing the costs and the time of collaboration and integration. |
 A NEW APPROACH We encourage people, companies and academia with good ideas and technologies to consider joining us – good people create good results. We work together openly to advance each others technologies so they all work better with less cost and more reliability for end users. We work with Canadian academic institutions as well as early adopters of electric mobility technologies- with products and services inside and outside of the vehicle. Our system level approach to the collective challenges of adoption is designed to create jobs for Canadians as we look to deploy and license our proven next generation technologies. |
